From Apprentice to Professional: Zyron Hessell’s Journey to Electrical Success

Beginning his career journey with McKay-owned company, MGE, in 2021, Zyron entered the electrical trade with practical knowledge acquired from undertaking a pre-trade course. During his apprenticeship, Zyron has consistently expanded his skill set and made valuable contributions to the workplace culture. He has shown a strong commitment to his studies and to the workplace, which has been noticed by Louis Marsh, Test Electrician and workplace mentor.

A noteworthy achievement

The Level 4 Electrical Engineering (Electrician) theory exam assesses participants’ knowledge of electrical theory, systems, equipment, machinery, and safety protocols in an electrical environment. This exam is known for its difficulty and is the last step towards obtaining certification as an electrician. Zyron’s near-perfect score is a significant accomplishment achieved by only a few individuals. Recognising Zyron’s success, Louis shared
