McKay Kaikohe acts as the operational hub for our electrical maintenance team, who play a crucial role in maintaining essential electrical infrastructure throughout the Far North district.
Working in close collaboration with the Far North District Council, our Kaikohe team diligently works to maintain and enhance vital street and roadway infrastructure in the region, proudly holding a long-term contract that involves the maintenance of the council’s streetlight network, ensuring that these lights are functional, safe, and energy-efficient for the community.
In addition to our work with the council, our team also engages with private developers and companies, providing expert support to ensure that streetlights in new and existing subdivisions are well-maintained and fully compliant with all relevant regulations and standards.
Leveraging the capabilities and resources of our corporate headquarters, located in Whangārei, our Kaikohe team can draw on the skills and knowledge of our engineering division and wider Northland project teams to self-deliver electrical projects of all sizes and scopes within the region.
