McKay announces integration of Ward Chandler: A new era for Auckland begins

Over the past decade, both companies have operated independently, allowing them to establish their own identities, operational processes, and customer bases. As collaboration between the two companies increased, particularly through projects that utilised the talents and capabilities of both, the decision to fully integrate the Ward Chandler brand into McKay was made in 2024.

This integration aims to provide customers with a streamlined operation that maintains the reliability and responsiveness for which Ward Chandler is known, while also incorporating McKay’s innovative solutions.

Since its founding in 1961, Ward Chandler has been recognised for its quality and reliability in the electrical contracting sector. Renowned for excellence in commercial projects, HVAC services, and facilities maintenance, Ward Chandler has built a strong reputation that will continue to thrive under the McKay brand.

The integration process will create a unified service offering that combines the extensive expertise and resources of both companies. This evolution is expected to provide clients with a broader range of services and enhanced capabilities, under a single brand.

– Seamless Continuity: All existing contacts, service agreements, and project teams will remain unchanged, ensuring a smooth transition for our clients. Where necessary, contracts will be seamlessly transferred to McKay.

– One Brand, Greater Strength: While the Ward Chandler brand will be retired, its legacy of quality and reliability will be carried forward as part of McKay.
