After completing multiple electrical projects in Wellington, including the design and installation of the electric propulsion system for Wellington’s Ika Rere, McKay established its Wellington branch in 2022 in response to increasing demand for electrical construction services in the region, and under request from clients
McKay is actively engaged in maintenance and streetlight renewal projects in the region, including recent work along the Wellington waterfront. We are also finalising the design and mobilisation for the Moa Point Sludge Minimisation Plant construction. This essential project entails McKay managing all electrical and associated work, valued at over $10 million, demonstrating our commitment and capability to delivering critical infrastructure for Wellington.
With our in-house capabilities and access to McKay’s national resources, our Wellington team provides innovative electrical solutions across industrial, commercial, and local government sectors. We expertly oversee the entire project life cycle, from electrical design and installation to maintenance and ongoing support.
